The cars you drive likely sport shiny metallic rims. But the cars we design and race? Our rims are so discreet that you might wonder if we even have any! Rest assured, we do, but ours are made of carbon fiber.

Each year, our team invests in custom aluminum negative molds and high-quality carbon fiber to produce these rims. It’s a meticulous process: we laminate multiple layers of carbon inside the molds to create two halves of the rim. After extensive post-processing, these halves are joined together, resulting in our custom-built rims.

This process is time-consuming and requires significant funding, so why do we go through all this effort?

The answer lies in weight savings. Our carbon fiber rims reduce the car's unsprung mass by a total of 2 kg. This weight reduction, particularly in the wheels, has a much greater impact on performance and efficiency than if the same weight were saved elsewhere on the car. Lighter unsprung mass means better handling, improved acceleration, and greater energy efficiency, all of which directly contribute to a higher efficiency score at competition.
